What's Shiny Today: Spring Fever Edition
What's Shiny Today: Spring Fever Edition
- The San Francisco Zoo's frantically migrating penguins have finally
decided to quit paddling and mate.
The trouble started when six newcomers from Sea World in Ohio showed up and
somehow convinced the rest of the colony to hit the water and start swimming
around in circles. They finally started slowing down after about six weeks
of this and now they're all out of the pool and into their burrows.
- This site is the
Internet reaching its full potential, even though it doesn't have
any cat pictures.
The
Brady Bunch doing the Hustle and Shake Your Booty is plenty horrifying on

(For our own protection, I assume.)
This one, however, is the crown jewel. TheBoy and I were chortling

(Don't listen to it at work, if your coworkers or HR department are among the
easily offended.)
TheBoy looking disappointed: Between 35 and 65%? That few?
Me: Only 90%? The ones who say they don't are either lying or have no hands. - Did you know that there's a lawsuit
in California against Microsoft, and if you bought a Microsoft product
between February 18, 1995 and December 15, 2001 you are in the class? Me
either, until today. (Thanks, hand-me-down copy of People's "25
Most Intriguing People of 2002" issue!) Maybe it won't pay for your fabulous
spring vacation, but it could buy you a spring vacation foofy umbrella drink
or two when they settle.. in 2020 or so.
- Baseball! Baseball! Baseball! Yaaaaay, baseball!
