Welcome to Jellystone
We had a blast on our trip. I hadn't had Thai food for over two weeks, though, so it was time to come home.
I'd like to thank those who made our 3500-mile road trip possible:
- Gen. John
Pershing and/or
Dwight
Eisenhower, depending on who you ask, for the
interstate
highway
system.
- The inventors
of the iPod, whose little treasure kept us sane.
- The fine folks at Frontier Pies, especially whoever it was who thought to set up each
booth at the Idaho Falls location as a tiny covered wagon. Mmmm, pie!
- Last but not least, my trusty Miata (yes, Miata, for a ten-day road trip), which was subjected to rain, heat, showers of bugs, frost and Nevada. Good car. Goooood car.
Pretty pictures of scenery and very large animals coming soon.
(Gnomes too.)
