A Recipe for Frustrated Cat
- On a bed of expansive clay soil, build a house.
- Age the house for about 50 years.
- At the next rainy season, check closets for doneness. Most should
have at least an inch-wide gap at the bottom, and one should not quite
close all the way, leaving a tantalizing but unbudgeable opening. Season
with clothes and other possessions to taste.
- Add one cat, aged for fussiness, whose fondest ambition in life is
to find small, warm and dark hiding places.
- Stir until crazy.
